High School Science Activity: Particles and Heat

This activity allows the user to visualize the relationship between particles and heat. When objects are heated, the particles that they are made up of begin to move faster.

These particles moving quickly, create heat. This heat energy can be transferred to another object’s particles. Use the activity below to see how this works.
